in the beginning

This is the opening shot for my new book project on iconoclasm.
It will be called Sculptural Assassination and will deal with iconoclasm in all its forms. In other words, if someone destroys a statue or sculpture for any reason other than sheer orneriness or adolescent high spirits and yahooism, it's iconoclasm.
In the meantime, I hope to update you regularly on my research and to get tips and tipoffs from you on any stories you may know about...
Also- please help me to design a working cover for this book! Just send a picture to me at tapit1@excite.com so I can put something together to hang on the wall and inspire me... Of course I'll post it on here when I get it done.
Until then, I'm kind of partial to the picture you see here which I found on a Russian language (I think- at least it had Cyrillic letters) website. Its English title is "Iconoclasm for Beginners", but that's all I know...
